⚙️ Engine swap in progress!. Now we know that our new engine is running smoothly, it is time to take out the old engine. We placed the old engine next to the new engine. New engine alert! 🛠️ Our Merenpoort needed a power boost, so we picked up a secondhand Yanmar 3GM30 from a boat at our sailing club that was being taken apart. It's in great shape, but needs some maintenance and a good cleaning before it's ready to go. We just got it running outside the boat and it sounds fantastic! End of an era. 💔 For 45 years, our watersports club (WSV Thales) called this place home. Last year was our final season here on the hard. Our company's expansion means we had to leave the land we cherished. It's been a busy year for Niels as chairman, overseeing the move. From a bustling yard with 20 boats to an empty space, it's hard to believe it's gone. So many memories made here! Just received some fresh parts for our Albin Vega and Merenpoort! 📦 For the Albin Vega, we're replacing the old cockpit bench covers with these newly milled plywood ones. 🔧 Over the next while, we'll be getting them shipshape for the next sailing season! 🛠️ For the Merenpoort, along with our new second-hand engine, we've also got our new Propeller as part of the engine.
