This is our digital logbook. Here you will find various things related to our boating adventures. It depends on what we want to write about and what we want to post on the website for ourselves as well as for you. You will find stories about trips, as well as recipes and projects that we do for our boats. If you have any questions or want to know more, you can always send us a message.

Originally crafted in 1993 when we first set sail on our beloved boat 'Akka', we've come a long way since then. From 'Stora Akka' (meaning 'bigger Akka' in Swedish) to our current vessel, 'Grutte Akka' (which translates to 'bigger Akka' in Frisian, a language spoken in the north of the Netherlands)
We spent a nice time on Vlieland. Had a storm, had sun and biked around the island to the Posthuys.
We planned to go to Texel. PLANNED. But... as always when we plan to go to Texel, things changed.

Finally, it's happening: workation. For the next few weeks, we work from the boat.
On Sunday evening, we go to the boat, work on Monday, and in the late afternoon, we go grocery shopping. Then quickly to Starteiland – we have dinner around 23:00 – but we're off!
